I left the edit suite last night at 11:00PM, got up this morning and started working at 6:30AM.  I worked all day and the end of Act 2 is in site, thank God. 

As the edit progresses I’ve started talking to a lady in DC about stock footage from the National Archive to include in the documentary.

Another day of the Smile edit. Today, I’m working from a coffee shop near Wayne State.

So we had our first major hiccup today.  When we started the Smile project the idea was to shoot the video in 16 x 9, 24p mode. Why you ask?

So yesterday I worked on the Smile edit, actually in the edit suite, and I found out some things about myself. The day went well, we changed some things, moved some things around and I realized truly what we have and don’t have. 

So it was my plan to be finished with the edit of Smile by the end of August but since I’ve just started that’s going to be hard to do.
