I left the edit suite last night at 11:00PM, got up this morning and started working at 6:30AM. I worked all day and the end of Act 2 is in site, thank God.

So we had our first major hiccup today. When we started the Smile project the idea was to shoot the video in 16 x 9, 24p mode. Why you ask?

So yesterday I worked on the Smile edit, actually in the edit suite, and I found out some things about myself. The day went well, we changed some things, moved some things around and I realized truly what we have and don’t have.

End of September and I mean it.

So it was my plan to be finished with the edit of Smile by the end of August but since I’ve just started that’s going to be hard to do.

Now the documentary we’re working on is titled When I Need to Smile and the title comes from the song Gretchen Valade wrote that launched Mack Avenue Records.
