11:00PM and 6:30AM

I left the edit suite last night at 11:00PM, got up this morning and started working at 6:30AM.  I worked all day and the end of Act 2 is in site, thank God.  Now, one of the first things I did in the edit yesterday was to change the opening credits.  Not who’s in opening credits, but how they look.  I changed them because I was watching the movie Midnight Cowboy and I liked the way they did credits, so I copied it.  I guess, I shouldn't have admitted to copying something so let’s just say… it influenced me.

On a completely different note, I got an email today asking me to participate in a site survey for the premiere event.  Although, I understand why, the whole idea of talking about the premiere event before the film has been completed makes me nervous.  I’m the kind of guy that doesn’t like congratulations until the very, very, very end. There are so many things that can go wrong. But, that’s just me,. So, as I struggle with uncertainty and doubt they continue to plan the premiere.

And not only are they planning the premiere before the edit is done, we still have one day left to shoot – The Detroit International Jazzfest itself.
